Job summary

Qualifications

• Enrolled or within one year of graduation in Cyber Security or CS
• Temple-worthy Church member required
• Knowledge of information security practices, OS, networks, Cloud security, privacy and GRC
• Interest or experience in vulnerability assessment and risk
• Proven collaborative and communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Document and implement risk and compliance controls
• Assist incident responders with discovery and investigation
• Review logs to identify irregular patterns
• Assist in audit recommendation analysis
• Document problems for remediation
• Assess IT infrastructure risks and propose improvements
• Support security programs and risk reduction efforts
• Set up vulnerability scans and validate results
• Report vulnerabilities to engineers
• Mentor IT professionals
