Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking an Information Security Analyst II to join the Security Operations Centers (SOC) team. This role focuses on monitoring, triage, and response to security events across endpoints, networks, and SIEM platforms.

You will work with cross-functional teams and support the IT security strategy. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a SOC role, experience with SIEM/SOAR, and knowledge of security policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a SOC analyst.
• Experience with SIEM and incident response.
• Familiarity with information security policies and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process responses for security events as part of the SOC team.
• Triage, investigate and respond to SIEM-generated events to mitigate threats.
• Configure and operate SIEM and SOAR tools in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and document incident timelines.
• Assist Incident Responders with detailed event recounts and escalation as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of threat detection trends and technologies.
