Job summary

LPL Financial is hiring an Information Security Analyst II for its Security Operations Centers (SOC) within the Technology Information Security organization in the United States. The SOC Analyst will monitor, triage, and respond to security events from endpoints, networks, and SIEM systems, interfacing with IT and business units.

The role reports to the SOC manager and supports the security strategy and roadmap.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a SOC analyst.
• Experience with SIEM and SOAR tooling.
• Knowledge of IT security concepts and threat trends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security events as part of the SOC team.
• Triage and investigate events from SIEM to mitigate threats.
• Enforce security policies and incident handling procedures.
• Coordinate with IT and business teams during incidents.
• Maintain SIEM/SOAR configurations and rule sets.
• Communicate incident status clearly to stakeholders.
