• Experience using SPL, KQL, SQL, FQL, or similar languages to investigate security data.
• Broad knowledge of enterprise security threats and attack vectors.

Job description

Piper Companies is seeking a SOC Analyst II in Boston, MA to support a fast-growing cybersecurity organization. The SOC Analyst II will be responsible for analyzing escalated security events, conducting detailed investigations, and helping identify and respond to threats across customer environments.

Responsibilities of the SOC Analyst II:

• Analyze escalated alerts and conduct in-depth security investigations.
• Perform incident response, threat hunting, scoping, and remediation activities.

• Broad knowledge of enterprise security threats and attack vectors.

Compensation for the SOC Analyst II:

• 40-$50/hr, based on experience.
• Shift: 3:00 AM-11:00 AM ET.
• Contract-to-hire opportunity
