Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking a Recovery Engagement Specialist for a 3p-11p shift at the RESET Center in San Francisco. The role focuses on creating a safe, supportive space for individuals under the influence, guiding sobering processes, and documenting status for the health team.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, personal recovery experience, and comfort working with diverse populations. Training in trauma-informed care and de-escalation is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of personal recovery.
• Experience working with diverse populations including individuals experiencing substance use and homelessness.
• Must obtain BLS certification within the first week of employment.

Responsibilities

• Take participant vital signs as delegated per protocol.
• Monitor participants during sobering, ensuring well-being and safety.
• Provide snacks, hydration, and comfort to support safe sobering.
• Document participant status and observations in real time.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to maintain a calm, trauma-informed environment.
