Job summary

Connections Health Solutions seeks a Recovery Engagement Specialist for the RESET Center in San Francisco. The role focuses on creating a safe, calming environment for individuals under the influence, guiding sobering care, and documenting status while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll engage participants with empathy, support harm-reduction pathways, and uphold trauma-informed care. Full-time, health benefits, and 401k are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within first week of employment is required.
• Ability to document vitals and care in an electronic health record (EHR).
• Experience with diverse populations, including people experiencing homelessness or substance use issues.
• Familiarity with harm reduction and trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Take participant vital signs as delegated per protocol.
• Monitor participants throughout the sobering process and ensure well-being.
• Respond to participant needs with empathy and excellent customer service.
• Provide snacks, hydration, blankets, and comfort measures for safe sobering.
• Observe participant behavior and complete observation logs and documentation.
• Identify escalating or unsafe behavior and notify supervisors or clinical team.
