Job summary

EY seeks a dynamic SOAR Engineering Manager to lead the design, delivery, and optimization of security automation solutions across client environments. You will guide architecture, playbooks, and integrations while coordinating with security operations and stakeholders to deliver measurable value.

You will manage multi-disciplinary teams, drive delivery milestones, and mentor staff, with a focus on scalable, secure automation in a fast-paced consulting setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field with 6–10 years in security automation or SOAR.
• Experience leading enterprise security automation or SOAR delivery programs.
• Hands-on with enterprise SOAR platforms listed (XSOAR, Sentinel Automation, Splunk SOAR, etc.).
• Strong software development and scripting in Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Experience designing REST APIs, web services, SDKs, and custom integrations.
• Deep knowledge of SOC processes: alert triage, incident response, threat detection, & case management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOAR engagements from discovery to deployment and transition.
• Advise on automation strategy, governance, platform selection, and roadmaps.
• Own solution architecture and delivery quality for enterprise SOAR implementations.
• Develop playbooks for incident triage, investigation, containment, and reporting.
• Oversee integrations across SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, cloud security, and ticketing systems.
• Provide oversight for custom integrations, APIs, connectors, and cloud-native automation.
