The Director position is responsible for leading the Ski and Ride School and will include the following responsibilities: program growth and development, recruiting, motivating, and training staff, developing and following a financial plan, developing and implementing a risk management plan, and demonstrating passion and enthusiasm for the sport. This leadership role is critical to the successful growth and development of the company.

The Director is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of staff and to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Work closely with Human Resources to successfully resolve employee issues and to enhance employee relationships.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
PSIA/AASI Level II or Level III current certification.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Must have a working knowledge of computer programs, such as Microsoft 365, Word, and Excel.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Weather conditions and the number of guests play a large role in the work scheduling of Dodge Ridge employees.
When conditions are normal, you may be expected to work 40 up to 48 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. During busy periods, you may be expected to work six (6) days a week.
You must arrange for transportation to work so that you arrive at your designated workstation at the scheduled time. Keep in mind that you will often be required to drive on hilly, snowpacked, and icy road surfaces.
