Job summary
Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana is hiring a seasonal Snowmaker responsible for operating snowmaking equipment and producing quality snow. Position requires working in varying winter conditions, a high school diploma, and experience with snowmaking preferred. Benefits include ski pass eligibility, employee ski days, free transportation, complimentary meals, and access to employee housing. Work hours include 12-hour shifts, with possible overtime depending on conditions.
Qualifications
Ability to work in varying winter weather conditions.
Valid state driver’s license required.
Previous work experience as a Snowmaker, especially in a resort or club setting.
Responsibilities
Operate snowmaking equipment for creating manufactured snow.
Produce quality snow through air/water and fan equipment.
Relocate guns and hoses around the mountain continuously.
Adjust snow guns to maintain snowmaking efficiency.
Skills
Ability to work in varying winter weather conditions
Understanding of mechanical equipment and systems
Experience with snowmaking equipment
Education
High school diploma, GED, or vocational training
