Job summary

Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, MT seeks a Seasonal Rental Technician to outfit Members and guests with winter and summer equipment. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, accurate transactions, and coordinating with other departments to meet member requests.

The position runs November through April and requires safety awareness and detailed record-keeping. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years in customer service, plus 2+ years handling outdoor gear.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or vocational training or related coursework.
• 1–2 years in customer service.
• 2+ years experience with outdoor equipment.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding guest service in a guest-friendly environment.
• Prepare and outfit Members and guests with proper equipment.
• Understand and apply safety procedures to maintain a secure environment.
• Maintain positive relationships with Members, guests and co-workers.
• Keep accurate records of Member preferences and requests.
• Provide accurate information about rental shop services.
