Job summary

Cranmore Mountain Resort is seeking snowmakers to enhance guest experience by creating safe and high-quality snow conditions. You will set up, run, and adjust snow guns to meet the snow plan and weather conditions, ensuring reliable operation throughout the season.

The role is seasonal with day and night shifts. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and ready to work outdoors in varying weather while maintaining a strong safety mindset and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Seasonal, day and night shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Starts up, shuts down and maintains snowmaking equipment including tower guns, fan guns, land guns, hydrants, air/water pipes and hoses.
• Makes snow in the correct location by interpreting the snow plan and aiming guns.
• Monitors equipment and conditions to prevent freezing and ensure efficient operation.
• Assists in record keeping and communicates with control room and supervisor.
• Maintains consistent snow quality by adjusting snow guns to temperature and wind.
