Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, LLC is seeking seasonal Snowmakers to help operate and maintain snow guns as winter weather allows.
You’ll start up and shut down gear, adjust settings for temperatures and wind, and help position equipment to ensure optimal snow coverage across the mountain. The role requires outdoor endurance, reliability, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.
This seasonal role typically begins in late October and runs through the end of March, weather permitting. Snowmaking is dependent on weather conditions, which means flexibility is key—we make snow when Mother Nature allows. Shifts may be extended, or start times adjusted, with little notice. This is an hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Snowmaking Supervisor, Director of Environmental Operations, and Director of Environmental Management.
To set you up for success, we’ll provide essential gear at the time of hire, including a helmet, headlamp, and your first pair of snowmaking gloves.
Join our team of Snowmakers and be part of the crew that makes winter possible!
