Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort in Vermont is seeking a Snowmaking Controller for a full-time seasonal role. You will ensure that on-hill snowmakers have the information, air and water needed to maximize snowmaking production, often working indoors. The starting wage for this position is $23.00/hr.

Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December. This role requires physical work, weekend availability, and travel to remote pumping stations as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• General mechanical skills and knowledge are required.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Previous snowmaking knowledge/experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manually and remotely control and monitor pumping and compressed air systems.
• Relay information to the on-hill staff.
• Log and track running equipment; ensure proper operation output.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the control room.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs; report issues to management.
• Travel to remote pumping stations during your shift.
• Additional duties as assigned.
