Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Snowmaker in Portage, WI. This role involves operating snowmaking equipment when weather allows and supporting resort operations on site. The position requires long shifts, outdoor work in extreme conditions, and flexibility to assist in other areas or duties as needed.

Applicants should be comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds, pulling hoses, and adhering to a dress code. Availability for day or night shifts, and seven-day work when required, is expected.

Responsibilities

• May be asked to work in other resort areas or be called off as needed.
• May have additional duties as assigned.

Job Location: Portage, WI 53901, Salary Range: $18.00 - $19.00 Hourly, Role and Responsibilities

Snowmakers are involved in the operation of snowmaking equipment whenever weather permits to meet our needs as determined by our Mountain Manager.

• Genuinely interested in working outside in challenging and changing weather conditions
• Able to work seven (7) days per week when needed and when possible
• May be asked to work another area of the resort or called off when not needed
• Day shift snowmakers may be assigned to direct traffic in the parking lot on weekends and holidays
• May be kept busy with other duties

Qualifications: Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Able to work 12-hour day or night shift in extreme weather condition. Able to frequently lift and pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Able to pull heavy hoses or other equipment on hard packed or soft snow and on icy conditions. Must be safety conscious and aware of changing conditions. Minimum age is 18. Provide own outside clothing, warm and waterproof boots, and gloves. Dress code required.
