Job summary

Colorado Adventure Park is seeking a Snowmaking Technician to manage daily snowmaking, snow placement, and equipment maintenance on the mountain. You will setup and tear down guns, relocate gear as needed, and operate snowmobiles to reach work sites.

Ideal candidates will have snowmaking experience, familiarity with safety protocols, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Housing and ski pass are available as part of the benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily snowmaking operations, snow placement and maintenance.
• Maintain and service snowmaking equipment to ensure uptime.
• Set up and tear down snowmaking guns as needed.
• Relocate snowmaking gear to various locations on the mountain.
• Connect and purify snowmaking hoses and equipment.
• Operate snowmobiles to reach work sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the snowmaking process, snow placement and maintenance.

• Maintain clean and operating snowmaking equipment.

• Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm, professionalism and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and management.

• Set up and tear down of snowmaking guns.

• Relocate snowmaking equipment to various locations on the mountain, as needed.

• Hook up and clean out snowmaking hoses and equipment regularly.

• Operate snowmobile.

• Ensure safety requirements are met and adhered to at all times.

• Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous snowmaking experience preferred.

• Snowmobile operation experience preferred.

• Able to adhere to all safety protocols.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and/or weekends.
