Job summary

Vail Resorts in Pennsylvania is hiring Snowmakers for winter 2026/27. Starting wage is $20.00/hr to $23.00/hr with full-time and part-time hours available. This role requires outdoor work in alpine conditions, a valid driver's license, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work outdoors in an alpine environment.
• State background check clearance for Pennsylvania required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate all vehicles, including snowmobiles, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform basic snowmaking equipment maintenance.
• Work on the production of snow to create the best skiing surface for our guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Snowmaker, you will brave the elements and helpbuild outthe mountain for the skiing guest. Snowmaking is a physically demanding and exciting job. Work with some of the most fascinating equipment on themountain, andmake it snow!

Job Specifications:

Starting Wage: $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr

The role you are being hired into requires further background check clearances by the State of Pennsylvania, which will need to be completed before you can begin work.

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
