Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Technical Lead to own the technical delivery of Snowflake migration workstreams within a modern cloud data warehouse environment. You will collaborate with architecture and governance teams to ensure adherence to guidelines and to design robust solutions.

You will lead design efforts, contribute to reusable components, and work hands-on with the customer tech team to deliver production-ready data solutions using Snowflake, Azure Data

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in BI field.
• 5+ years Snowflake experience with implementation.
• Strong data modeling and data warehouse methodology.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouse architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of multiple Snowflake migration workstreams.
• Identify roadblocks during the execution of the projects and solutions to address the roadblocks.
• Work with the Customer Architecture team to understand the architecture and development guidelines and principles.
• Ensure that all the architecture and development guidelines and principles are followed by the project team.
• Build High Level and Low Level design document for the projects.
• Work with the deployment/release team for releasing applications to production.
• Identify solutions to issues faced by the technical development team as well as application issues
• Contribute in building the guidelines and principles by providing inputs to the architecture and governance teams
• Hands on development along with the customer technical team
• Present technical solutions and design document to architecture/governance teams and executive leadership team
• Identify reusable components/AI/Automation opportunities and build them so that they can be reused by all the workstreams.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Overall 10+ years' experience in BI Field.
• 5+ years of experience on Snowflake along with implementation experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Worked on Modern Cloud Datawarehouse Architecture (Data Lake + Data warehouse).
• Having strong experience on Azure Data lake and file system.
• Having 1-2 years of experience on Snowflake or Azure Datawarehouse.
• 3-5 years working experience with ADF (ETL) and Azure Databricks.
• Should have Experience on Data Modeling / Data warehouse methodology.
• Microsoft Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
