Job summary

InfoCepts seeks an experienced Snowflake Architect to design, develop, and modernize data platforms on Snowflake. You will lead migrations from legacy systems, integrate AWS services, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines while ensuring governance and security across enterprise environments.

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, provide architectural guidance, and drive CI/CD and version control for dbt deployments.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to support ongoing data platform initiatives, including application development, data warehouse enhancements, integration projects, and migration programs. The role involves working closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, develop, modernize, and optimize data solutions on Snowflake while supporting changes to source systems, interfaces, and downstream applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on expertise in Snowflake, AWS, SQL Server, and data integration technologies, with experience delivering both new development and migration projects in enterprise environments.

Key Result Areas and Activities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake and AWS.
• Lead data migration initiatives involving legacy and modern data platforms.
• Analyse changes in source systems and interfaces and assess downstream impact.
• Design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data movement and transformation.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data integration processes.
• Collaborate with business users, architects, and development teams to define migration strategies.

Work and Technical Experience:

• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Experience working with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, EC2, IAM, and related data services.
• Strong expertise in SQL Server, T‑SQL, and database development.
• Proven experience in data warehouse modernization and migration projects.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration tools.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization in Snowflake.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and access controls.
• Understanding of performance tuning and workload optimisation in Snowflake
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control (Git/Azure DevOps)
• Experience in driving team through delivery, UAT, & product ionisation (Release planning,
