Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Atlanta seeks an experienced BI/Data Engineering lead to own Snowflake migrations and modern data-warehouse projects. You will architect high and low level designs, govern standards, and drive delivery across client teams, ensuring scalable data platforms in Snowflake, Azure Data Lake, and Databricks.

The role requires 10+ years in BI, strong Snowflake expertise, and proven leadership in technology delivery, governance, and architecture across cloud data platforms.

Qualifications

• Overall 10+ years of experience in BI Field.
• 5+ years of experience on Snowflake with implementation experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Worked on Modern Cloud Datawarehouse Architecture (Data Lake + Data warehouse).
• Strong experience on Azure Data lake and file system.
• 1-2 years of experience on Snowflake or Azure Datawarehouse.
• 3-5 years working experience with ADF (ETL) and Azure Databricks.
• Experience on Data Modeling / Data warehouse methodology.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical delivery of multiple Snowflake migration workstreams.
• Identify roadblocks during the execution of the projects and solutions to address the roadblocks.
• Work with the Customer Architecture team to understand the architecture and development guidelines and principles.
• Ensure that all the architecture and development guidelines and principles are followed by the project team.
• Build High Level and Low Level design document for the projects.
• Work with the deployment/release team for releasing applications to production.
• Identify solutions to issues faced by the technical development team as well as application issues.
• Contribute in building the guidelines and principles by providing inputs to the architecture and governance teams.
• Hands on development along with the customer technical team.
• Present technical solutions and design document to architecture/governance teams and executive leadership team.
• Identify reusable components/AI/Automation opportunities and build them so that they can be reused by all the workstreams.
