Job summary

Blend360 is seeking a Field CTO / Snowflake Architect to lead the technical strategy and architecture for data and AI workloads across Snowflake-based deployments. You will shape platform decisions, work with client executives, and guide delivery teams through multi-tenant infrastructure design.

You will drive pre-sales and solutioning, crafting high-level estimates and presenting to client stakeholders, while collaborating with sales and solutions teams to accelerate Snowflake engagements.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in data or platform architecture with at least 3 years at scale.
• Deep experience with Snowflake and AWS or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to lead technical strategy in executive contexts.
• Background in consulting delivery or embedded partner roles.
• Experience building Data Mesh with Snowflake data sharing.

You’rejoining our growing Snowflake practice across multiple industries where you have a unique opportunity to be part of our practice and solutions team to drive the pre-sales motion along with helping our customer to be strategic advisors and design their AI Data Cloud architecture using Snowflake technology stack as part of your delivery responsibilities on the engagement.You’llbe helping in Go-to-Market(GTM) motion in conducting the customer workshops, hands on labs with Snowflake sales teams and also driving pre-sales efforts to win more Snowflake opportunities, working with internal practice and solutions team in designing relevant solutions and accelerators that we can leverage for our customers in faster time to value.

As a FieldCTO andSnowflake Architect, your role is to serve as the technical authority — making platform decisions,representingthem to client stakeholders, and guiding the team through the complexity of dataand AIarchitecture and multi-tenant infrastructure design.You’llreport to Blend’sVP of Practice and Solutions and Global Snowflake Practice Headwhile working within thepractices and solutions team along withdelivery teamand will haveregular visibility to the client’s executive leadership.

• Define andvalidatethe technical blueprint across cloud datawarehouse, clean room infrastructure, embeddingcompute, andAI architecture.
• Design Data and AI architecture with bestpracticesrecommendationsleveragingSnowflake technology stack.
• For pre-sales andsolutioningefforts, you will be recommending the solution approach,preparehigh level effortestimatesandleadpresentations to theclientstakeholders.

Technical Depth

• Real-time and batch data architecture
• ML/AI systems andembeddingsinfrastructure
• Cortex AI,CoWorkand AI architecture of Snowflake
• Data integration capabilities including Snowflake native as well as nice to haveexpertiseon 3rdparty solutions such asFivetran,dbtand/or other relevant providers.

Executive Presence & Communication

• You’veworked directly with CTO-level stakeholdersand executives with clear communication— not through layers
• You move comfortably between technical depth and business context
• You articulate architectural tradeoffs clearly and in terms of business impact
• You’recomfortableworking and leadinghigh-stakes clientsin their Snowflake journey

• You askhard questionsabout scale, cost, compliance, and risk beforecommitting toapproaches. This is applicable for both pre-sales and deliveryengagementsso you can drive the best practices and solutions for the customers.

Qualifications

Required

• 15+ years in data or platform architecture, with at least 3 years on systems at significant scale
• Deep experience with Snowflakeand AWS (or other) cloud service providers,or a comparable enterprise data platform
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical strategy in high-stakes client or executive contexts
• Background in consulting delivery or embedded partner roles
• Building Data Mesh architecture withdata sharing capabilities of Snowflake
• You have worked with Snowflake sales and solutions team

Nice to Have

• Clean room or federated data architecture experienceor feature store work
• Identity resolution or data monetization projects
• AWS or cloud infrastructure design
• Snowflake certification
• How to launch our solutions as Snowflake marketplace

Additional Information

The starting pay range for this role is $250,000 - $300,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range anddeterminingfactors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
