Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a skilled Snowflake dbt Developer to join our IT team. You will build dbt transformations across medallion layers, design semantic models for BI and AI, and deliver Snowflake-native applications using Streamlit for business users.

The role requires hands-on experience with dbt on Snowflake, strong SQL and data warehousing know-how, and collaboration with BI analysts and stakeholders to translate reporting needs into robust data models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data development roles.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience developing and maintaining dbt projects in production.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with the Snowflake platform, including advanced features.
• Proven track record of developing data applications or analytical solutions for business users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dbt models across multi-layer medallion architecture (silver, gold, platinum).
• Build Snowflake-native data applications using Streamlit for self-service analytics.
• Model data following bronze-to-platinum patterns and optimize performance and cost.
• Develop semantic models and metrics for BI and AI consumption; enable AI tooling with governed data.
