Job summary

This role focuses on building and operating multi-source ingestion pipelines into Snowflake and developing Snowpark transformations in Python and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 5+ years of data engineering experience with strong Python and SQL.
• Snowflake production experience; SnowPro Core certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, and dbt without degrading data freshness or load windows.
• Develop Snowpark-based Python and SQL transformation workloads according to design standards.
• Onboard new source systems identified in the Data Source Inventory during Build and Scale phases.
• Implement data quality checks and resolve pipeline issues identified during sprint reviews.
• Support Data Scientist and Data Visualization Engineer with clean, governed, analysis-ready data sets.
• Participate in two-week sprint ceremonies and contribute to sprint reporting and risk register.
• Experience with S3 External Stages and secure AWS-to-Snowflake data movement.
• Knowledge of AWS KMS encryption and high-volume Snowflake ingestion patterns.
• Understand MuleSoft data consumption and integration architectures.
