Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and optimize data pipelines on Snowflake. You will model data, implement dbt transformations, and develop SQL queries, dashboards, and analytics solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, experience with real-time data processing, and knowledge of governance and security. Healthcare domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Experience with real-time data streaming and processing.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Healthcare or finance industry experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Snowflake and ETL/ELT processes.
• Implement scalable data models and transformations using dbt with Snowflake.
• Create and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and UDFs in Snowflake.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Snowflake and BI tools.
• Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable data solutions.
• Mentor junior team members on Snowflake best practices.
