Job summary

FreedomPay seeks a Snowflake Data & AI Engineer to design, build, and operationalize data and AI solutions on Snowflake. You will own data pipelines, models, and AI agents, collaborating with security, platform, and business teams. This mid-level role emphasizes production delivery and durable engineering patterns.

You will work across Snowflake SQL, Cortex AI, semantic views, and open ingestion patterns, delivering scalable, governed data products for internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production Snowflake data engineer experience.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling with performance tuning.
• Experience with Python and modern software practices (testing, version control, CI/CD).
• Experience designing semantic layers and governance patterns for analytics/AI.
• Experience with ingestion using Openflow, Kafka, Snowpipe, APIs or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines and models on Snowflake.
• Develop and productionize AI solutions using Snowflake Cortex AI and related tools.
• Create, validate, and maintain semantic views and business logic for governed analytics and AI.
• Build and support ingestion patterns using Openflow, Kafka, Snowpipe, APIs and NetSuite integrations.
• Develop reusable components with SQL/SnowSQL, Python, and optional JavaScript.
• Implement data quality checks, testing, observability, and deployment controls.
• Optimize data models and workloads for performance, cost, and scalability.
• Establish secure data sharing and data-product patterns for internal and external use.
