Job summary

Nimble Gravity, a data, AI and digital engineering consultancy, seeks an AI and data architect to design Cortex-powered applications on Snowflake for client environments. You will shape data foundations, build end-to-end AI solutions, and collaborate with engineers to deliver scalable, governable systems.

This role emphasizes hands-on development, security, cost management, and ongoing learning as Snowflake's AI roadmap evolves. Strong Cloud and API integration experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a data or AI architect or senior engineer with hands-on Snowflake.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, with Snowpark experience.
• Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex capabilities or comparable LLM-based apps.
• Knowledge of RAG, semantic search, text-to-SQL, and agentic patterns.
• Solid data modeling, ELT/ETL, and orchestration (dbt, Airflow, or similar).
• Understanding of Snowflake security and governance: RBAC, masking, policies, data sharing.
• Experience with CI/CD, APIs, and cloud fundamentals on Azure, AWS, or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build: Design and implement AI applications on Snowflake using Cortex AI functions and related tools.
• Build the data foundation: Shape pipelines, semantic models, and unstructured data processing.
• Develop full-stack: Python, SQL, Snowpark, and Streamlit; integrate APIs and external LLMs.
• Design for scale and security: Apply RBAC, masking, and governance from day one.
• Manage cost and performance: Tune warehouses and queries for predictable costs.
• Lead client conversations: Run architecture sessions and workshops to steer adoption.
• Collaborate: Work with data engineers, scientists, and app developers end-to-end.
• Keep learning: Track Snowflake AI roadmap and convert capabilities into reusable patterns.
