Job summary

Nimble Gravity is seeking an AI and data architect to design and deliver Cortex-powered AI applications on Snowflake. You will shape data pipelines, semantic models, and unstructured data processing to produce trustworthy AI results for clients.

Role involves full-stack development with Python, SQL, Snowpark, and Streamlit; collaborating with engineers and data scientists, and guiding architecture sessions with clients. Expect a fast-moving, learning-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a data or AI architect or senior engineer, including hands-on work on Snowflake.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience in Snowpark.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake Cortex capabilities, or comparable hands-on experience with LLM-based applications.
• Familiarity with RAG, semantic search, text-to-SQL, and agentic patterns.
• Solid grasp of data modeling, ELT/ETL, and orchestration (dbt, Airflow, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Snowflake security and governance: RBAC, masking, row access policies, and data sharing.
• Experience with CI/CD, APIs, and cloud fundamentals on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Preferred: SnowPro Core/Advanced certification; Streamlit, Snowflake Native Apps, Cortex fine-tuning; data science background.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build AI applications on Snowflake using Cortex and related tools.
• Build the data foundation with pipelines, semantic models, and unstructured data processing.
• Develop full-stack features using Python, SQL, Snowpark, and Streamlit; integrate APIs/LLMs.
• Design for scale and security with RBAC, masking, and governance.
• Manage cost and performance by tuning warehouses, models, and queries.
• Lead client conversations through architecture sessions, demos, and workshops.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and app developers.
• Keep learning and applying Snowflake’s AI roadmap.
