Job summary

Coforge is seeking a senior data and cloud architect with deep Snowflake experience to design and deploy scalable cloud-based data platforms. The role focuses on guiding digital transformation and data modernization across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in software engineering, systems architecture, and technology consulting with strong leadership and stakeholder communication skills. Hybrid work model in the greater Boston area is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of software engineering, systems architecture, or technology consulting experience.
• Snowflake data platform expertise including design, ETL, and performance optimization.
• Cloud infrastructure experience with Microsoft Azure or equivalent (AWS, GCP) including IaC, security, and cost optimization.
• Strong relational and non-relational database design, query optimization, and data modelling.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable cloud-based technology solutions using Snowflake and Azure.
• Provide technology consulting and guidance on digital transformation and data modernization.
• Architect and oversee implementation of enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Lead technical assessments and identify optimization opportunities.
• Manage relationships with vendors and implementation partners.
• Develop standards and best practices for data management and cloud infrastructure.

Required qualifications

• Professional engineering experience: Minimum 10 years of software engineering, systems architecture, or technology consulting experience.
• Snowflake expertise: Advanced proficiency with Snowflake data platform, including data warehouse design, ETL implementation, and performance optimization.
• Cloud infrastructure: Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) including infrastructure as code, security, and cost optimization.
• Database design & optimization: Strong background in relational and non-relational database architecture, query optimization, and data modelling.
• Independent work capability: Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and deliver results with minimal supervision while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
• Technical leadership: Ability to architect solutions and serve as a technical authority across complex projects.
• Bachelor's degree: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Preferred qualifications

• Private equity experience: Previous experience in a PE-backed company, with understanding of typical PE operating model optimization and technology implementation.
• Data analytics & BI: Experience with advanced analytics, business intelligence tools, and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Client engagement support: Track record of providing technology consulting to multiple enterprise clients.
