Job summary

Ethereum Technologies in Santa Clara is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement enterprise data warehouse architectures using Snowflake. You will define data architecture standards for cloud platforms and optimize Snowflake deployments.

You will develop and optimize complex SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling with Star/Snowflake schemas. Collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and application teams is essential, and you will mentor teams on

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Architecture.
• 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake architecture and implementation.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake cloud data warehouse architecture.
• Advanced SQL programming and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Python and Snowflake scripting.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Snowflake security, governance, and access management.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise-level data warehouse architectures using Snowflake.
• Define data architecture strategies, standards, and best practices for cloud-based data platforms.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and Snowflake objects.
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.

• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, data analysts, and application teams.
• Mentor development teams and provide technical guidance on Snowflake best practices.

Required Technical Skills:

• 8–12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Data Architecture.
