Job summary

Veridic Solutions LLC seeks a strategic Snowflake Architect to design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient enterprise data platforms. You will define standards, modernize legacy systems, and enable analytics and AI workloads across client environments.

You will drive architecture reviews, mentor teams, and guide customers on best practices for data governance, security, and performance optimization in cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 15-18+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or enterprise cloud data platforms.
• 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake architecture and implementation experience.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, security, governance, and cost optimization.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in dbt, ETL/ELT, CDC, CI/CD, and DataOps.
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, and enterprise data modernization.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern analytics, ML, and AI-ready data platforms.
• Excellent consulting, stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise Snowflake architectures covering data ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, governance, and AI enablement.
• Define reusable architecture patterns for data engineering, data products, semantic layers, and enterprise analytics.
• Lead legacy data platform migration and modernization to Snowflake from platforms such as Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, Redshift, and SQL Server.
• Architect data pipelines using Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, dbt, and modern orchestration tools.
• Enable AI/GenAI use cases using Snowflake Cortex, Snowpark, vector search, embeddings, and RAG architectures.
• Establish security, governance, data quality, performance optimization, cost management, and operational standards.
• Integrate Snowflake with AWS, Azure, GCP, BI tools, and enterprise applications.
• Lead client workshops, solution design, architecture reviews, and technical mentoring.

Experience: 15-18+ years, including 5+ years in Snowflake architecture, consulting, solution design, and enterprise data engineering.

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Snowflake Architect to design scalable, secure, cost-efficient, and AI-ready enterprise data platforms. The role involves defining architecture standards, leading modernization initiatives, enabling analytics and AI workloads, and advising clients on enterprise data strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• SnowPro Advanced Architect certification preferred; SnowPro Core is a plus.
• Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Search, Cortex Analyst, Snowpark ML, and GenAI/RAG solutions.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Fivetran, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Experience with Snowflake Marketplace, Native Apps, Iceberg Tables, and secure data sharing.
• Domain experience in BFSI, Retail, Industrial, Energy, or Healthcare/Life Sciences is an advantage.
