Required Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with customers of ranging ages.
• Able to snowboard for extended periods of time, requiring lifting, bending, and twisting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors in cold climates for extended periods of time.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 1 PSIA-AASI (or equivalent) certification or higher. (In-house training will be provided to un-certified applicants).
• Previous experience as a Snowboard Instructor.

Position Requirements:

• Execute private and group lessons in accordance with PSIA-AASI guidelines while providing positive redirection to improve student ability levels.
• Work in good cooperation with rental staff, ski patrollers, lift operators, and snow-surface staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
• Provide facility safety walks and parking lot set-up before guests arrive.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time seasonal position with an average of 30-40 hours per week during the operating season. Regular Schedule is Thursday - Monday, and all MSBSD holidays. Snowboard Instructors must be at least 18 years of age and be able to pass a background check
