Job summary

Powderhorn Mountain Resort is seeking a Snowboard Instructor to deliver professional instruction to guests of all ages and ability levels throughout the season.

Instructors teach to PSIA/AASI standards, ensure safe equipment, and coordinate with the SRC for events and program offerings at Powderhorn. The role requires strong customer service, safety focus, and the ability to work outdoors at high altitude.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service skills and ability to work with the public.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests of all ages and levels.

Responsibilities

• Instruct guests in skiing/snowboarding to all ages and levels.
• Ensure safety by PSIA/AASI standards and ski area policies.
• Know terrain, lift timings, and program offerings to guide learners.
• Assist in setup and operation of events when needed.
• Read and follow the Seasonal Employee Handbook and safety procedures.
