Job summary

Lookout Pass seeks a Snow Sports Assistant Director / Supervisor to lead the Snow Sports School alongside the Snow Sports Director. You will guide instructors, coordinate daily lessons, assist with sales and guest services, and drive staff training and development.

Ideal candidates are experienced ski or snowboard instructors who enjoy developing others and delivering a positive guest experience while upholding professional standards on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 2 seasons of ski or snowboard teaching experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with instructors, guests, children and families.
• Ability to work independently within a management team.
• Willingness to teach in diverse operational roles as needed.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• Willingness to pursue PSIA/AASI certification.

Responsibilities

• Daily Snow Sports Operations: assist with daily operations and lesson scheduling.
• Payroll, timekeeping, and administrative support as needed.
• Staff training and development: mentor instructors and lead clinics.
• Programs & season planning: assist with seasonal offerings and event support.
• Teach lessons and programs to support daily operations when required.
