Job summary

Middlebury College Snowbowl/Rikert Nordic Center is seeking a part-time Snow School Instructor to teach ski and snowboard lessons to guests of all ages. You will act as a mountain ambassador and work closely with a team to deliver engaging lessons and a welcoming environment.

The role is hourly, non-benefits eligible, with employee passes and discounts for staff and families. Applicants should be at least 14 years old and enjoy connecting with people while prioritizing safety and fun.

Qualifications

Job description

Employees at the Snowbowl and Rikert Nordic Center receive a free season pass and discounts for family for passes, rentals and Snow School. Applicants under the age of 16 will be hired as Junior Instructors.

This is a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The hourly wage for this position is $16.50 per hour.

Snow School Instructor Responsibilities

• Teaches ski and/or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities and acts as a mountain ambassador.
• Works as part of a team dedicated to creating the best possible environment for taking and teaching a ski or snowboard lesson.
• Works cooperatively with all Snowbowl departments. Prepared to assist other departments as needed.
