Job summary

Middlebury College seeks a part-time Snow School Instructor to teach ski and/or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages, acting as a mountain ambassador and providing a welcoming learning environment.

You will join a team-focused operation with opportunities to support other departments as needed, while adhering to safety procedures and delivering high-quality lessons. This role is non-benefits eligible and paid hourly.

Job description

Employees at the Snowbowl and Rikert Nordic Center receive a free season pass and discounts for family for passes, rentals and Snow School. Applicants under the age of 16 will be hired as Junior Instructors.

This is a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The hourly wage for this position is $16.50 per hour.

Snow School Instructor Responsibilities

• Teaches ski and/or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities and acts as a mountain ambassador.
• Works as part of a team dedicated to creating the best possible environment for taking and teaching a ski or snowboard lesson.
• Works cooperatively with all Snowbowl departments. Prepared to assist other departments as needed.
