Job summary

Middlebury College's Snowbowl and Rikert Nordic Center seek a part-time Snow School Instructor to teach guests of all ages, act as a mountain ambassador, and work with a team to provide top-notch lessons in a friendly environment.

The role is hourly and non-benefits eligible, with a starting wage of $16.50 per hour. Applicants 14+ welcome; free season passes and discounts for family are offered.

Qualifications

• Proficient ski and/or snowboard skills.

• Must be flexible - willing to adapt and improvise for effective teaching of skills.
• Must have ability to connect with people and understand group dynamics.
• Knowledge of safety procedures for missing or injured students and guests.

Job description

Employees at the Snowbowl and Rikert Nordic Center receive a free season pass and discounts for family for passes, rentals and Snow School. Applicants under the age of 16 will be hired as Junior Instructors.

This is a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The hourly wage for this position is $16.50 per hour.

Snow School Instructor Responsibilities
