Job summary

BrightView is hiring a Snow Truck Driver in Windsor Locks, CT. This on-call role involves operating snow removal equipment and coordinating with sidewalk crews to clear designated areas safely and efficiently.

Shifts range from 6 to 12 hours, often overnight, with longer hours during major storms. A valid license is required, and background checks are mandatory. The season starts with the first snowfall.

Qualifications

• 3 years of commercial experience using a plow truck or salt truck.
• 3+ years of commercial snow experience using Skid-Steer, Front End Loader, Backhoe, or equivalent vehicles with plows and snow containment boxes.
• 18 years of age or older
• A valid and clean driver's license with no restrictions (CDL is NOT required)
• Work well under pressure while observing safety guidelines.
• Have a smart phone (to download and use our attendance tracker App)
• Dependable transportation.
• Attendance at and successful completion of required training, as well as passing a background check are mandatory.
• Able to lawfully work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of snow removal equipment to ensure safe and efficient clearing of the designated areas.
• Work with sidewalk crews to complete snow removal assignments safely and efficiently.
