Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Snow Truck Driver in Connecticut. This on-call position requires availability for shifts ranging from 6 to 12 hours, often overnight depending on the snow event.

The snow removal season begins with the first snowfall. Duties include operating plow trucks, salt spreaders, skid-steer, and other snow equipment, coordinating with sidewalk crews, and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of commercial experience using a plow truck or salt truck.
• 3+ years of commercial snow experience using Skid-Steer, Front End Loader, Backhoe, or equivalent with plows and snow containment boxes.
• 18 years of age or older.
• A valid and clean driver's license with no restrictions (CDL is NOT required).
• Work well under pressure while observing safety guidelines.
• Have a smart phone (to download and use our attendance tracker App).
• Dependable transportation.
• Attendance at and successful completion of required training, as well as passing a background check are mandatory.
• Able to lawfully work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of snow removal equipment to ensure safe and efficient clearing of designated areas.
• Work with sidewalk crews to complete snow removal assignments safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
