Job summary

River City Lawnscape, Inc. is seeking a part-time Snow Removal Technician to join our winter operations in Kasson, MN.

You will assist the snow removal team with shoveling, snow blowing, and salting, following crew directions and safety protocols, and provide dependable service in varying conditions. The role offers on-call hours during snow season, with potential progression to full-time in the busy spring/summer season; prior experience is welcomed but not required, and a valid driver's

POSITION SUMMARY

The Snow Removal Technician is responsible for being an integral part of our Snow Removal Team. Some of the varied tasks include shoveling, snow blowing and salting. This position is part time. During the snow season, on-call hours will vary. Working conditions vary by the job site. Crews of 2-3 people work together. This position is eligible to become full time in the green season.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience preferred but not required
• Posses a valid driver’s license and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy
• Safely operate small equipment
  

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to lift/carry 75 lbs. On a regular and consistent basis, move about the work site
• Exposed to exterior elements
• Time in the field is 100%
• Requires extended periods of activity; walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting
