Job summary

RiverWoods Exeter is seeking a seasonal, per diem Snow Removal Equipment Operator to keep campus walkways safe during winter weather. You will operate stand-on and walk-behind snow removal machines with snowblowers, clearing sidewalks and entryways for residents, staff, and visitors.

Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in cold conditions. Training provided; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and communicate professionally is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to safely operate assigned equipment after training.
• Dependability, clear communication, and a team-oriented approach.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in cold, snowy, wet, and icy conditions.
• Ability to get on and off equipment; bend, kneel, crouch, and reach; and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-on snowblower to clear sidewalks, walkways, entryways, crosswalks, and other designated pedestrian areas.
• Use walk-behind snow removal equipment and assist with additional clearing tasks as assigned.
• Apply salt, sand, and other ice-control materials as directed.
• Follow assigned routes and help maintain pedestrian access throughout snow events.
• Complete equipment inspections before and after use and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with post-storm cleanup, resident vehicle clearing operations, fueling, and equipment preparation.
• Complete required training, wear required protective equipment, and follow campus safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with residents, coworkers, and supervisors.

Snowblower/ RTV Operator – Snow Removal

RiverWoods Exeter is hiring a seasonal, per diem Snow Removal Equipment Operator to help keep campus walkways and entrances clear during winter weather.

You’ll operate a equipment such as a RTV or stand-on, ride-on, or walk behind snow removal machine with a snowblower— some similar in operating style to a stand-on zero-turn mower. Your work will help maintain safe pedestrian access for residents, staff, and visitors throughout the winter season.

Schedule

This is a seasonal, per diem position with work scheduled around winter weather events. Shifts may last up to 12 hours and may include overnight, early morning, weekend, and holiday hours. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation during snow events are essential.Post-storm cleanup and vehicle clearing typically take place during normal business days following a storm.

Preferred: Experience operating stand-on or zero-turn mowers, snowblowers, sidewalk snow removal machines, or similar equipment. Experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or commercial snow removal is also helpful.
