Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation in Steamboat Springs, CO seeks a seasonal heavy equipment operator to remove snow from parking lots and roads. You will operate Front-end Loader, Dump truck, Skid Steer, and Snowcat while adhering to safety policies.

The role requires 2 years in heavy equipment and 1 year in snow removal; CDL preferred, strong English communication, and a valid driver's license. This is a seasonal, weather-dependent position with benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience as a heavy equipment operator.
• 1 year experience in snow removal.
• CDL license preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and understanding equipment limitations.
• Safety oriented and able to work in varying weather.
• Must communicate clearly in English and relate well with guests and team.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to remove snow and keep parking lots and roads safe.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment for safe operation.
• Follow safety policies and procedures to avoid unsafe practices.
• Connect hydraulic hoses and components to raise/lower/tilt attachments.
• Assist in Vehicle Shop or operate snowcats when weather dictates.
