Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint in Roselle, IL is seeking a dependable Snow Removal Technician to support designated sites during winter weather. You will operate plow trucks and salt spreaders, apply de-icers, and work outdoors in cold and snowy conditions, physically demanding but essential for our commercial clients.

This role requires legal work authorization, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Knowledge of snow truck removal strategies.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR.

Responsibilities

• Snow removal with Plow/Salt Truck for designated areas.
• Operate heavy equipment to remove snow and treat icy conditions for clients
• Distribute de-icing solutions safely
• Perform highly physical work in very cold, icy, and snowy weather
• Use equipment: shovel, snow scrapers, snow blowers, salt spreaders
• Apply chemicals properly
• On-call for weather events 24/7
• All other duties as assigned

What would my responsibilities be?

• Snow removal with Plow/Salt Truck for designated areas.
• Operating heavy equipment to remove snow and treat icy conditions for clients
• Safely and appropriately distribute de-icing solutions
• Perform highly physical and demanding work on a consistent basis in all weather conditions, specifically very cold, icy, and snowy weather
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment: shovel, snow scrapers, snow blowers, salt spreaders
• Proper application method of chemical application
• Part time/On call for weather events 24/7
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Knowledge of Snow Truck Removal strategies
• Required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, life, grasp, carry, push, and pull as needed
• Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds plus
• Must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions: hot, cold, freezing, rain, snow, wet weather conditions and have proper attire
• Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site
• Safe driving record and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (“MVR”) required
