Yellowstone is seeking a Snow Plow/Salt Truck Driver to provide professional snow removal services in Hackettstown, NJ. The role involves ongoing snow removal day and night, in all weather, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities include plowing, applying de-icers, operating heavy equipment, and working on-call 24/7 during weather events. Must have legal work status in the U.S. and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Location: 50 US 46, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840

The Snow Plow/Salt Truck Driver will provide professional snow removal services for our clients. This position is responsible for performing ongoing snow removal tasks during all hours of the day and night in all outdoor weather conditions while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

What would my responsibilities be?

• Snow removal with Plow/Salt Truck for designated areas.
• Operating heavy equipment to remove snow and treat icy conditions for clients.
• Safely and appropriately distribute de-icing solutions.
• Perform highly physical and demanding work on a consistent basis in all weather conditions, specifically very cold, icy, and snowy weather.
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment: shovel, snow scrapers, snow blowers, salt spreaders.
• Proper application method of chemical application.
• Part time/On call for weather events 24/7.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Knowledge of Snow Truck Removal strategies
• Required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, life, grasp, carry, push, and pull as needed
• Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds plus
• Must be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions: hot, cold, freezing, rain, snow, wet weather conditions and have proper attire
• Specific vision abilities by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Branch or first job site
• Safe driving record and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Report (“MVR”) required
