Job summary

Land Design Associates in Boston, MA is seeking a reliable Snow Plow Operator to join our winter operations team. The role involves safely plowing, salting, and de-icing residential and commercial properties, with long shifts, on-call nights, and weekend hours during storms.

You will work with the Snow Operations Manager/Foreman to prioritize routes, perform equipment checks, and maintain records. Compensation is competitive and includes company-provided equipment, benefits, and potential

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with clean driving record required.
Experience operating plow trucks or heavy equipment in winter conditions.
Ability to work long shifts during storms and irregular hours.
Reliable, punctual and able to work on short notice during active weather events.
Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Operate plow trucks, skid steers, or other snow removal equipment to clear snow from driveways, parking lots, and roadways.
Apply salt and other deicing materials to designated properties.
Perform pre- and post-storm inspections of equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation.
Communicate property completion status and any on-site issues to the Foreman or Snow Operations Manager.
Follow assigned routes and prioritize properties based on client needs and storm severity.
Maintain accurate records of hours worked, materials used, and services completed at each property.
