Job summary

Landscape Design Concepts is seeking a part-time, seasonal Snowplow Operator/Driver to support commercial snow and ice management. You will operate plows and salters, follow routes, and help maintain safe conditions at large sites.

This on-call role requires nights, weekends, and holidays during winter storms, with shifts varying by weather and site needs. Vehicles and equipment are professionally maintained; scheduling is flexible where possible.

Qualifications

• Three years of snowplow operation and commercial snow removal experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with at least three years of driving experience.
• Reliable transportation to job sites and a smartphone for communication and reporting.
• On-call availability throughout winter including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks in extreme winter conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow and salter equipment safely on commercial properties.
• Clear snow and manage ice on parking lots, roadways, and entrances.
• Oversee sidewalk crews and assist with shoveling when needed.
• Inspect equipment and maintain fluids and fuel; load salt trucks.
• Communicate with supervisors and use smartphone for reporting.
• Travel to assigned sites as directed by a supervisor.
• Follow procedures to complete work safely and maintain site conditions.
