Job summary

North Central University is seeking a Snow Crew - Shoveler to maintain campus facilities during winter by clearing snow and ice on an on-call basis.

The role requires snow removal work, communication with the maintenance team, and availability during snow events. Eligible students must be enrolled at NCU and reside in on-campus housing; a year-end bonus is offered for meeting all requirements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student at North Central University (NCU).
• Knowledge of basic snow removal practices (shoveling & salting).
• Ability to communicate well across platforms to ensure shared understanding of information & responsibilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Resides in on-campus housing.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow up on all snow removal tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Shoveling assigned areas during and after each snow event in a timely manner.
• Maintain communication with the Maintenance Technician via email, text, or phone call.
• Meet all snow removal requirements for each snow event (clear walkways, spread salt, etc.).
• Work at uncommon hours to meet snow removal requirements.
• Monitor weather conditions and prepare accordingly.
