Job summary

Strauser Nature's Helpers is seeking a Snow Crew Member to support snow removal operations on a flexible, on-call schedule. You may assist with storefront clearances, salt spreading, and use of small equipment outdoors.

Responsibilities include attending branch meetings if requested, clearing snow with manual tools or equipment, and complying with all company policies while staying safe in adverse winter conditions.

Job description

A Snow Crew Memberis a flexible schedule position, on call as needed. Snow shovelers are responsible for snow removal with either a manual shovel or snow removal equipment.

As a Snow Shoveler you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test

Must be able to drive to the work site or branch in adverse weather conditions

Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently

WORK CONDITIONS

Employees performing this job should be able and willing to drive or travel locally, if needed. Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours. Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate in snow removal activities. This position will require working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including rain, snow, ice, sun, and extreme cold.
