Qualifications

Responsibilities

Lead Winter Operations Across Commercial RoutesWhen the first flakes fly, you’re the one who turns a forecast into a plan. As our Snow and Ice Operations Route Supervisor, you’ll own a defined set of commercial properties and guide a crew to keep them open, safe, and on schedule throughout every winter event.This is a snow‑event role. Storms don’t clock in at 9–5, and neither will you. Events may occur overnight, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. You must be reachable, responsive, and ready to roll when conditions change.What You’ll OwnRun your assigned commercial route end‑to‑end, ensuring every property is serviced safely, correctly, and on time.Direct operators, drivers, and laborers during snow and ice events; set pace, priorities, and quality standards.Operate plow trucks, skid steers, loaders, snow blowers, salt spreaders, and related equipment as needed.Plow, salt, and de‑ice parking lots and designated areas; clear sidewalks and walkways when required.Apply salt and other de‑icing materials per site requirements and conditions.Maintain constant communication with dispatch and management; respond promptly to calls, texts, and instructions.Track route progress and adapt to changing conditions to hit service timelines.Confirm completion at each property and document all required route and service details.Immediately report delays, equipment problems, property damage, or other issues.Ensure all team members follow company safety protocols and service standards.What You Bring2+ years in snow plowing or snow and ice management.Previous experience as a crew lead, route lead, or supervisor.Hands‑on skill operating plow trucks and snow equipment.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Ability to safely operate medium‑duty non‑CDL trucks.Non‑CDL Class C required (or willingness to obtain immediately).Strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to work independently.Sound judgment and a strong safety mindset under changing conditions.Dependable, reachable, and flexible for nights, overnights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.Physical DemandsLift and carry 50–70 lbs.Sit and focus for multiple hours while operating a plow truck during events.Work outdoors in severe winter weather.Shovel, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.Work extended shifts during major storms.Compensation & OpportunitiesCompetitive pay based on experience, equipment proficiency, and route responsibility.Additional and potential year‑round work may be available for qualified team members.Ready to Lead a Route?If you’re the experienced snow pro who shows up, answers the call, takes ownership, and finishes the job, we want to hear from you.
