Job summary

Trinity Health MI in Ann Arbor is hiring a Patient Care Tech (PCT), CNA, and Medical Assistant to join the 2 North SNICU team. The role supports direct patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse in a 20-bed Level 1 Trauma unit.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, collecting specimens, recording patient data, and contributing to a safe, compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year direct care experience or completion of CENA/PCT/MA/EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed BSN nursing fundamentals class.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, toileting, grooming and feeding.
• Collect specimens and document data; assist with IV catheter care as needed.
• Provide caring, relationship-based care under RN supervision.
• Support SNICU unit operations in a Level 1 Trauma hospital context.
• Maintain patient safety and a clean, safe environment.
