Job summary

Harmony Health Center is seeking an organized and dependable Human Resources Coordinator to support the facility’s HR operations. Previous human resources experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is required.

Responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, records maintenance, credential tracking, and payroll coordination, with emphasis on confidentiality and compliance. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred to serve a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• Previous HR experience in a skilled nursing facility is required.
• Familiarity with healthcare personnel records, credential tracking, and onboarding.
• Strong organization, communication, and follow-through.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
• Experience with HR or payroll systems is preferred.
• Must be able to speak both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and new employee orientation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and employee records.
• Coordinate onboarding, employment changes, and separation paperwork.
• Track employee credentials, licenses, certifications, and required training.
• Assist with background screening and employment eligibility documentation.
• Coordinate timekeeping and payroll information with the appropriate departments.
• Respond to employee questions and help document HR matters.
• Assist with audits and maintain records in accordance with facility policies and applicable requirements.
