Job summary
Nestlé USA, within the Nutrition Technical Applications Group, seeks a Product Development Specialist to lead innovation and renovation for Healthy Snacks across infant to older children categories. The role drives cost, quality, and compliance while delivering knowledge transfer to factories.
You will partner with global experts, lead projects, qualify materials and suppliers, and provide first-line support to production sites.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of product development experience in the CPG industry.
- Experience with baking, extrusion, and low moisture food tech preferred.
- Strong project management and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead product development from concept to commercialization, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance.
- Drive improvement projects across manufacturing, sourcing, quality, and cost.
- Onboard and qualify raw materials and suppliers, assess allergens and claims.
- Provide technical support to factories and co-manufacturing partners.
- Develop competencies and coach teams to enable manufacturing excellence.
